We’ve all dug deep inside our pantry’s during “Thanksgiving and Christmas” to give to the less fortunate. We’ve all seen the Feed the Children commercials on TV. We’ve all heard the cries around the world about how the “poor little black kids” so desperately need food.  Now we have the opportunity to make a difference here in the U.S. in the lives of our fellow brothers and sisters. 

So many times those of us that are blessed to have plenty to eat rob others by throwing away so much food.  The new study, from the University of Arizona (UA) in Tucson, indicates that a shocking forty to fifty per cent of all food ready for harvest never gets eaten.”  http://www.foodproductiondaily.com/Supply-Chain/Half-of-US-food-goes-to-waste.

As we read statistics such as these and watch all of the commercials, we think, 'what can we do about that' or 'what do we have to do with that'? You’ll be surprised! Father Yah commands us, in scripture to provide for the poor.

Leviticus 23:22 ‘And when you reap the harvest of your land do not completely reap the corners of your field when you reap, and do not gather any gleaning from your harvest. Leave them for the poor and for the stranger. I am Yah your Master.ʼ "

          The goal of our Israylite Heritage food/grocery pantry, is to feed as many hungry people as we can. In this process, we will encourage those lost sheep to return home again to Father Yah through pamphlets, flyers, DVD’s, CD's etc.  Our purpose for opening a food pantry is simple:

“Then the righteous shall answer Him, saying, ‘Master, when did we see YOU hungry and we fed YOU, or thirsty and gave YOU to drink?

And when did we see YOU a stranger and took YOU in, or naked and clothed YOU?

‘And when did we see YOU sick, or in prison, and we came to YOU?’

“And the King shall answer and say to them, ‘Truly, I say to you, in so far as you did it to one of the least of these MY brothers, you did it to ME.’
