On December 8, 2007 in the online chat room “Yah and Yahoshua are Real”, Brother ObadiYah announced that the coming Israylite Heritage Organization would have a women’s ministry.  He asked that all interested contact Sister AmaziYah for more information.  The chat room “A Mother in Israel Arose” was created on December 12, 2007 to host our first meeting which was held on December 14, 2007 at 9:00pm.  Nine women came together including Mother MayimYah, Sister Hannah, and Sister AmaziYah, for the purpose of creating an organization that would serve to teach women about our role according to Yah’s Word.  One week later on December 22, 2007 at 8:00pm we met again and Sister HadaraYah joined our efforts.  That night we voted on our official name “Blessed Handmaidens of Yah and Yahoshua,” to indicate our Messianic belief.  During our first year, Yah blessed our hands to accomplish a weekly fellowship room, a bi-weekly online radio show, online teaching videos and Yah and Yahoshua are Real 4 Kids 2 Children’s Ministry headed by Sister TaneYah. We have been very blessed to have many sisters join and become active members of Blessed Handmaidens.  Sister YecheilYah is one of the foremost voices of our ministry.  She is a poet/writer and has launched our Women’s Prison Ministry Outreach Program.  We are very thankful to The Most High Yah for blessing us this past year to grow and bring forth the truth to our women and children. Yah willing, we will continue this set-apart work and witness the abundant fruit of our labor. HalleluYah.
